The new flagship of the Celebrity Cruises fleet promises relaxation, luxury and beauty with The Spa, an extraordinary wellness center.
Delivered in December 2018, Celebrity Edge will be an innovative ship for well-being thanks to a refined design, services never offered before on a cruise ship, collaborations with leading brands in the different fields of wellness and over 124 different treatments. The new flagship of Celebrity Cruises – the brand of modern luxury design of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines group – will surely be able to amaze its guests. Designed by the South African designer Kelly Hoppen, also the author of some suites and the exclusive The Retreat relaxation area, The Spa covers over 2,000 square meters and features an entire palette of warm and neutral tones inspired by natural materials, able to create an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation the moment you enter the wellness center. To serve as a reception there is a Zen sculpture, while the senses are immediately inebriated by widespread aromatic essences and a welcome ritual that caresses and prepares the guest for subsequent treatments. Both the wellness center and the entire ship offer an intense and deep connection with the sea and the surrounding environment thanks to the SEA – Sea, Earth and Air concept which conveys the rejuvenating power of the natural elements in the technology of the spaces, in the
therapies and all the experiences offered by The Spa. Among the many proposals there are the Hot Mineral Body Boost, a unique treatment that stimulates every single cell of the body to relieve tension and detoxify, Zero-weight well-being massage , the Regenerating saline stone massage and the Detoxifying one thousand flowers. The Spa of Celebrity Edge also offers the SEA Thermal Suite (evolution of the Persian Garden, the area dedicated to the aquatics present on the ships of the fleet) and 8 therapeutic experiences that take advantage of the natural elements: Hammam, Salt Room, Steam Room, Rainfall Water Therapy Room, Float Room, heated loungers, infrared sauna and Crystalarium. As usual, the AquaClass guests will have free access to them, as well as having dedicated menus in the reserved restaurant Blu. A real treat is also the presence of massage beds like Spa Wave MLW Amphibia, with water cushions that fit the body and color lighting customizable, the award-winning WellMassage4D, which uses a revolutionary technology for deeper treatments and MLX, with warm crystals that shape the body and ease muscle tension. Celebrity Edge will debut on December, the 1st, from Fort Lauderdale (Florida) with 7-night cruises in the Eastern and Western Caribbean and in 2019 it will be positioned in the Mediterranean for cruises from 7 to 11 nights that will scale, among others, the ports of Barcelona and Rome, port of Civitavecchia.
