Parfums de Marly offers, for men’s Valentine Day, Byerley, a fragrance that celebrates the history of a majestic horse race. Byerley was one of the first stud that gave rise to the English thoroughbred race. Legend tells that the brown coat stud was born during a storm, it didn’t fear the noise of guns or gun shots, thus proving a fearless warhorse. Inspired by Byerley, the brand – that with its fragrances always pays homage to the France splendor of the eighteenth-century and the creation of the finest perfumes to King Louis XV, a great lover of horses – has created a scent at the same time proud and sensitive, as man of our dreams should be (125ml, € 183.00 – 75 ml, € 140.00). Parfums de Marly has also thought to women creating Sedbury, a tribute to femininity. A new eau de parfum that pleasantly overwhelms the senses with its fresh and flowers notes and for the creation of which the French company was inspired by the famous horse breed whose origins are rooted in the eighteenth century Yorkshire . Sedbury opens with mandarin, bergamot, sage and lavender touches that give way to a trail of carnal flowers, while the base touches charm with vanilla, amber and hints of sandalwood. The fragrance is shielded in an elegant white satin glass bottle, sealed by a gold bouchon set with a glittering stone (75 ml, Euro 183.00). Parfums de Marly is available in a selected network of perfumeries.
