Four major Peruvian producers belonging to the regions of Arequipa, Cusco and Puno, will participate for the first time in the international event “Salone del Gusto Terra Madre”, to be held from 22nd to 26th of September. Their participation on the show, organized by Slow Food, is thanks to the program “Al Turista, Lo Nuestro”, from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR). They bring to Italy different products like preserved trout, quinoa flakes and amaranth, stevia, olive oil, dehydrated fruits, among others. “Al Turista, Lo Nuestro” was launched in 2012, and it promotes, in major touristic destinations, sustainable services and regional products.
