The Broken Shaker

At the helm of the mixology movement are Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta, the duo behind Bar Lab. They are the geniuses who designed the concept The Broken Shaker, the bar at the Freehand hostel located inside the former Indian Creek Hotel on Miami Beach. Cocktail to try: Although the cocktails change regularly, try the Dutch Kills with Bombay Dry Gin shaken with star anies, fennel seed reduction, citrus and fresh pineapple.

Byblos

Cocktail to try: Gulab (meaning rose in both Hindi and Arabic) with rose-infused Absolute Elyx vodka, pomegranate, lemon and rose water.

Blackbird Ordinary

Located in Brickell, Blackbird Ordinary hosts live bands and weekly parties, but it’s their cocktails with a twist that really keep the regulars coming back for more. Find it at 729 SW First Avenue, Miami, FL 33130.

Cocktail to try: Blackbird with Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka, blackberries and lemonade.

Coya’s Pisco Bar

Known for it’s mouthwatering Peruvian food, Coya is also famous for its dedicated Pisco Bar, which offers 20 varieties of expertly infused piscos (a Peruvian clear spirit similar to brandy that’s distilled from grapes) that are made in-house using natural fruits, spices and herbs.
