Tenuta Attems offers two new labels that express two varieties of great Friulian tradition. Trebes 2016, Ribolla Gialla bright yellow with golden reflections and a penetrating and composite bouquet in which you can perceive floral scents, nuances of hazelnut, vanilla, white pepper and a slightly smoky note. The finish, very long, gives an aftertaste of mandarin, spices and a clear but pleasant salinity. Cleve (which means “slope” in Friulian) is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Carmenere grown in soils of ponca on the gentle slopes of the Collio Goriziano. Cleve 2015 has an intense and bright color, the nose is very intense and it offers aromas of black and blackcurrant amalgamated with sensations more herbaceous nettle, cedar, ripe plum and green pepper with a sweet finish of dark chocolate. In the mouth it is lively and captivating with a fresh acidity that enhances the fruity sensations and creates an interesting contrast with the velvety tannin, in a long finish of field herbs, red fruits and graphite.

In the mouth it remains dry, warm and velvety, opulent, but extraordinarily elegant. The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Docg is instead of garnet red and on the nose it expresses a note of humus and a broad, ethereal, composite aroma. In the mouth it maintains an austere and fascinating character, in a very thick taste structure.
