For the first time les Collectionneurs is partnering with Merano Wine Festival, a landmark event in the Italian food and wine scene scheduled in November, the 8th to the 12th.
It will be entrusted to the Italian chefs of les Collectionneurs – the community of restaurateurs, hoteliers and travelers chaired by the famous chef Alain Ducasse – the task of bringing their culinary expertise into the gastronomic performances scheduled for the 28th edition of the Merano Wine Festival, which has always represented the perfect opportunity to learn about selected quality products awarded with The WineHunter Award. An important collaboration that reconfirms and strengthens the commitment of les Collectionneurs to foster interactions between chefs and multiply the opportunities for meeting with travelers in events that well represent the spirit of a community. In the elegant context of the Merano Kurhaus there will therefore be plenty of space for live performances and gourmet dinners of the community chefs
alongside other guest chefs from les Collectionneurs. Theodor Falser of the Johannesstube restaurant of the Wellness Hotel Engel Gourmet & Spa, Alberto Sparacino of Cum Quibus, Terry Giacomello of Inkiostro will be protagonists in highly topical show cooking focused on biodynamic cooking, mold and fermentation; Massimo Spigaroli of the Antica Corte Pallavicina and Luigi Tramontano of the Hotel Le Agavi in Positano will sign the gala dinner at the opening of the event. Chef Tramontano will also represent his region at the Campania stand together with other Neapolitan chefs such as Lino Scarallo of Palazzo Petrucci, Umberto De Martino of the Florian Maison Resort and Michelina Fischetti of the Oasi restaurant. Finally, it will be up to Elio Sironi of Ceresio 7 Pool & Restaurant and Matteo Felter of the Grand Hotel Fasano to propose the right wine-pairing in a contest dedicated to champagne.
