Saturday 28 January the appointment is with a tasting itinerary dedicated to the combinations of 4 typical pecorino cheeses from the Cugusi Dairy with 4 dry and sweet Carpineto wines to discover aromas and aromatic complexities. It begins at 11.30 with a guided tour of the cellar, barrel cellar and museum of the winery andCarpineto then continues with the Wine & Cheese tasting in the tasting room overlooking the barrel cellar. The tasting includes Spumante Brut Carpineto with aged pecorino cheese, Chianti Classico Carpineto with aged pecorino cheese with pink pepper, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva with aged pecorino cheese with noble wine, Farnito Vinsanto Carpineto with blue pecorino cheese from Pienza (€ 35.00).
Wine & Chocolate
An intriguing sensory journey that will take place on Saturday 11 February from 3.00 pm. After the guided tour of the cellar, barrique cellar and museum, the Wine & Chocolate tasting will offer the tasting of 5 excellent Carpineto wines paired with 5 types of Vestri chocolate with different percentages of Caribbean cocoa (from 70% to 90%) to find the combination capable of giving a whirlwind of unforgettable sensations. The tasting includes Dogajolo Bianco Carpineto with white chocolate flavored with sesame and Himalayan salt, Brunello di CarpinetoMontalcino Carpineto with 76% dark chocolate, Chianti Classico Riserva Carpineto with cocoa beans covered in chocolate, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Carpineto with 92% dark chocolate %, Farnito Cabernet Sauvignon Carpineto with dark hazelnut cream with chopped cocoa beans (€ 40.00).
Sensory tour with Blind Tasting
Saturday 4 March it will be the turn of a tour that involves all the senses through analogies and tactile, visual, olfactory and gustatory comparisons. We will start at 3.00 p.m. with a climb to high altitude that will involve sight and hearing with a view from above on the vineyards and the barrel cellar. Afterwards, in the tasting room, the participants will be blindfolded so as to broaden the senses of touch, smell and taste during the tasting of 4 wines, immersed in an exciting mix of aromas and flavours. Finally, an interactive path will allow the recognition of the aromas of spices, fruit and herbs. The tasting includes Spumante Brut Carpineto, Dogajolo Rosato Carpineto, Chianti Classico Carpineto, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Carpineto (€ 25.00).
