The Boscareto Resort & Spa returns to welcome its guests with a long list of new features that make it a unique address in the panorama of luxury hospitality in the Langa.
The five-star luxury hotel in Serralunga d’Alba (Cuneo) reopens to guests after a careful and in-depth renovation that has placed nature, the landscape and the territory at the center of every newly conceived element. Among the new features of the Resort, the remodeling of pre-existing spaces to create ten new rooms including two large suites – one with a hideaway kitchen corner – two junior suites and a deluxe on the first floor and five roof top junior suites with wonderful terraces overlooking the hills on the attic floor. The 39 existing rooms have been renovated and reinterpreted while keeping their original spirit intact: the custom-made furnishings created at the time of opening give a new feeling thanks to colours, materials and current technologies. The roof garden is also new, a large vegetated and flowery space that welcomes guests upon their arrival in the Boscareto reception area. However, some of the most popular areas of the resort remain unchanged, such as the “Water Room” – with stone and mosaic swimming pool, hydromassage tub, relaxation areas and Technogym-equipped gym – and the Sovrana Spa, which summarizes the best of the oriental experience in the field of well-being and body care and constant research into the most performing and effective products and innovations. The innovations continue with a remodeled and enlarged lobby area and with the reinterpretation of the rooms of the Bistrot Sunsì, a lounge surrounded by greenery opening onto the hills as far as the eye can see, a point of reference throughout the day for breakfast ( inside or on the terrace), a coffee break, lunch and aperitifs. Finally, the gastronomic restaurant La Rei Natura by Michelangelo Mammoliti, which finds space on the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards. The starting point was the dialogue between chef Michelangelo Mammoliti, Valentina Dogliani, hostess of Il Boscareto Resort & SPA and interior designer Stefano Guidotti. A dialogue that immediately led to the conclusion that in the rooms – entrusted to the Maître Alessandro Marcialis – nature should prevail, in continuity with the territory, with the Langhe hills that fill the eyes beyond the windows and with the chef’s dishes. There are three tasting itineraries: MAD 100% Natura (literally “mad with nature”), in which the cooking philosophy does not remain just a beautiful text on a piece of paper but really takes shape and flavor in a dish; Emotion, which represents a journey into one’s mind collecting the most important memories of life through perfumes, smells and flavours; and Voyage, a journey in the true sense of the word, as Mammoliti himself explains: “it is the map of a journey, with a series of stages that I have touched and experienced throughout my life, which have formed me, have given me so much and they transformed my kitchen into what it is today”. To accompany the chef’s dishes, sommelier Alessandro Tupputi’s wine list takes shape first of all from the wines of the Langhe area in search of all those small producers who represent an asset for our country, and then looking beyond the border, to France , to Spain, to Armenia, to Georgia, touching on both the big names who have left important imprints in the history of oenology and small vignerons, who are true masters of the art of wine.
