What is the real luxury of a flight? Obviously the Business Class, if not the First. The possibility of having space, the convenience of living long hours as in a small room staff. Pampered, too. But it’s not always the case, at least not alone. Recently I happened to make a long journey, Milan-Singapore and then Singapore-Melbourne (and return), more than 20 hours on the plane to which to add the stop over to change aircraft. And all this in Economy, in that class in short that once you had to kind of penance. No way. Starting with the planes of Singapore Airlines, three out of four round trip live up to such a long flight. In short, the luxury can also be hidden in the most unexpected moments. For example: it is true that in Economy the food is certainly less cared for than in the other classes, but still served with care by hostesses and stewards and above all with kindness. And then the newer aircraft, like the Boeing 777-3000 ER, they offer a high-quality entertainment, which is what was once only available in Business or First for the lucky ones. In short, the somewhat ‘travel hours are shortened and that’s a relief. The tendency Singapore is thankfully what they are doing many other airlines, and therefore the plane is in fact becoming a little luxury a little ‘for all. I speak of the Far and Middle East companies, but even of our Alitalia – although our license plate Etihad – which has decided to change the furniture of all air and introduce new meals even in Economy instead of snacks that were dished sparingly. So who buys a ticket is entitled to be pampered. Then, on the planes of Singapore Airline, there is also something more: the smile of the hostess. And that is a real must-see luxury.
