Carpineto-Great Wines of Tuscany will be present at Opera Wine with its icon wines selected by Wine Spectator.
Over 200 hectares of vineyards, divided in 5 wine estates for over 500 kilometers of rows. Carpineto, consolidated Tuscan winery that celebrates in this 2017 its first 50 years, after looking especially at the international scene, today has addressed a new focus to the Italian situation. In his 5 “Appodiati” of Montepulciano, Montalcino, Gaville (Alto Valdarno), Dudda (Greve in Chianti) and Gavorrano 3 production lines and more than 30 labels have born linked, mostly, to the most prestigious DOCG wines in Tuscany. Born from the dream of Sacchet and Zaccheo families to put together the three major denominations of the region – Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino – the company Carpineto-Great Wines of Tuscany offers mostly red, with great structure and extracted reserves, extremely long-lived wines that decreed the success especially abroad, with direct exports to over 70 countries, Canada and United States in the lead. Its Montepulciano’s wine estate is the high-density largest vineyard in Italy (65 hectares). Carpineto is also among the top 100 in the world ranking in Wine Spectator (only 18 Italian labels mentioned) with its icon wine, the Vino Nobile Montepulciano Riserva, which has been selected with the 2010 Reserve for Opera Wine 2017, at Vinitaly on April, 8th. Unmissable opportunity to taste and learn about a fine wine, elegant and harmonious, defined by Wine Spectator “A wine that you can drink until 2024: the seductive aromas of sweet cherry, leather, spices and undergrowth, with a hint of oak on the finish which suggests that it still has time to evolve”.
