A landscape of colours and scents on the hills between Asolo e Conegliano for a wonderful prosecco to taste
It all began in 1952 when a group of 129 grape growers with a strong belief in the benefits of cooperation entered into a partnership and built the “Cooperativa Cantina Sociale”. The decision was taken with the aim of creating a central winemaking structure for grapes produced also by small-scale growers, in the particularly difficult time immediately after World War II. Located in Valdobbiadene, our corner of Veneto region known in the world for production of a great Sparkling Wine. A landscape of colours and scents, embroidered by vineyards, rich in woods and rugged slopes, historic towns and picturesque villages, a place where over the centuries vines have taken on a central role in the material and productive culture. The Cooperative Val D’Oca currently groups together 600 growers and more than 900 hectares of vineyards. Members are committed to delivery of all of their grapes and sustained by the cooperative technical staff during the entire vegetative phase of the vine, from pruning up to grapes ripening. The production is entirely bottled and today the total production has reached over 12.000.000 bottles. Since 2008 the commercialisation of the wine produced by Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is entirely demanded to the company VAL D’OCA, owned subsidiary that markets the wine in Italy and abroad through its network of agents and distributors. The collection of products is rich and differentiated, to meet the demand of different channels and markets.
