Through Storie Veneziane, Valmont’s first perfume collection, the Swiss cosmetic brand brings the high olfactory jewelery on stage.
They are pure essences, extracted from the long duration that tell Venice, revealing its intimate and private soul and unveiling it through its perfumes. Sophie and Didier Guillon – owners and artistic soul of the luxurious brand – pay homage to their heart’s city turning it into the stage of Storie Veneziane by Valmont through a series of five olfactory tales that tell the many lagoon masteries: from the majesty of perfumery to the art processing of Murano glass and leather, enhanced by precious glass masks engraved as jewels on each bottle (also embellished by inlays in Italian leather) by the Venetian artist Leonardo Cimollin. A new way of telling Venice, therefore, starting from the delicate and fresh spring bouquet of Verde Erba I, which leads to the Pontile di
Sant’Elena, on the extreme tip, the last leap of vegetation before the expanse of the sea. Alexandrite I finds his raison d’etre in the symbol of the Renaissance and the contemporary, the Arsenale, revealing it through notes of bergamot, jasmine and aldehydes. Oriental floral, Rosso I pays homage to the sacred cloister of San Francesco Della Vigna with its spiritual and mysterious connotations. Amber fragrance for Gaggia Medio I, which evokes an intimate refuge in Dorsoduro, a fief of art and maze of streets. Finally, in the district of Campo San Moisè, a fragrant, elegant and lost blue glove is a source of inspiration for Blu Cobalto I, where patchouli excites the senses in a powerful and inebriating clash, cocoa embraces the composition of sensual leather notes and the absolute of myrh rushes to ecstasy and passion.
