Frescobaldi introduces the seductive Aurea Gran Rosè, harvested all-female in the Tenuta Ammiraglia.
The last born in Frescobaldi’s Tenuta Ammiraglia, in the heart of the Maremma and only 20 kilometers from the sea, is a rosé wine of rare elegance. “Aurea Gran Rosè is a perfect combinationof sea and vineyards, elegance and harmony of nature“, explains the President of Marchesi Frescobaldi, Lamberto Frescobaldi. In a terroir composed of calcareous clay soil, the heat of the sun, the breezes of the nearby Mediterranean and the experience and care of man, two vines of opposite character are combined, the international Syrah and the native Vermentino, to give life to a wine “persuasive and soft that expresses the feminine and fair Maremma soul“. And besides, the Amiraglia is just a team of women the one who, at the first light of dawn, carries out the manual harvest that precedes the soft crushing carried out at low temperatures, the
choice of must and the fermentation in French oak tonneaux. When combined, a touch of Sirah vin de reserve vinified in white, aged in barrels for 20 months, adds structure and pleasantness. This is how the wine was born, in this Estate designed by the architect Piero Sartogo that recalls a ship reaching out into the future, symbol of avant-garde, innovation and modernity. Soft pink with brilliant nuances of rose gold, Aurea Gran Rosè is offered to the palate with an intense and highly complex bouquet, with refined notes of fresh fruit. The taste is velvety accompanied by sweet and spicy hints and the elegant acidity is enhanced by mineral notes that give it a unique character. In the 0.75 l formats and in the Magnum (1.5 l) and Double Magnum (3 l) wooden packages, Aurea Gran Rosé is sold in the best wine shops and available in prestigious restaurants (€ 38.00 for the bottle of 0, 75 l; € 90.00 the Magnum format; € 200.00 the Double Magnum).
