The French borders are expected to open to European and British visitors (Schengen area and the United Kingdom) starting June the 15th
At the press conference of May the 28th, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said he was in favor of the reopening of the borders with European countries starting from June the 15th. This date remains set pending official confirmation. Beaches, countryside and mountains suitable for walks or outdoor sports activities, leisure parks, cultural and monumental sites, restaurants and tourist accommodation await Italian tourists who hopefully will soon be able to enjoy the French way of life again, the pleasure of a coffee-créme and a croissant on a terrace in the morning or to share a French lunch with friends or family, and allow yourself the pleasure of finding yourself together again to taste tasty dishes and great wines . Starting from June the 2nd, cafes, bars and restaurants located in green areas (all of France with the exception of the “orange” areas, ie Paris-Ile de France, Mayotte and Guyana) will be able to reopen, with the rules of social distancing (1 meter between the tables and no more than 10 people per table) and use of a mandatory mask for staff and customers when moving around the premises. Cafes, bars and restaurants in the orange areas, therefore Paris and the Ile de France region are authorized to open from June 2 only for the terraces outside the premises. Museums and monuments reopen throughout the national territory from June the 2nd, the use of the mask is mandatory. The amusement parks reopen from June the 2nd in the green areas, with maximum admission for 5000 people, and on June the 22nd in the orange areas. The same for theaters and showrooms: June the 2nd in green areas and June the 22nd in orange areas. Cinemas can reopen across the country from June the 22nd . Info : https://www.france.fr/fr
