With the new 56’ Rivale, the historical dockyard of Sarnico celebrates its myth. And Abarth dedicates a very limited production to Riva.
A yacht for long cruises but also a day cruiser for short sailing. But above all a unique boat in the open segment of its size, where style and comfort are an unmistakable trademark. The new 56’ Rivale has unveiled in recent days in the World Premiere during Reflection, event which celebrated Riva’s timeless elegance at the place where the myth was born 175 years ago, the historical Sarnico dockyard. To join Riva there also was another great Italian icon, Abarth. The FCA Group’s trademark has in fact introduced the limited special 695 Rivale series, inspired by the lines, colors and stylistics of 56’ Rivale. As a result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the new 56 foot Riva has been designed to represent a boat where excellent marine behavior goes hand in hand with innovative technology solutions. Here, then, hull hulling continues with threaded portholes, fine metalized shades with precious steel elements and teak details, or the only windshield to protect the cockpit, a real engineering and design work, aerodynamic yacht profile. The stern, whose garage features a Williams 325 tender secured by a double-shell carbon fiber hatch, offers a major innovation: underwater underwater floating, the left-hand staircases partially reveal others to hull and forming a single comfortable stairway to get off and go on board without having to use the steel ladder that always remains available. The bow is
set up with a reclining headboard that can be protected by a capote. In addition to the sundeck, there is a crystal with a special non-slip tread surface, embedded in a stainless steel frame and completed by the signaling trump inserted in the wonderful vintage carter made of a fusion of polished stainless steel that represents a tribute to the legendary Riva of the past. Undercover, 56’ Rivale welcomes guests in an elegant lounge-dinette, where mirrored mirrors alternate with glossy mahogany wood, dark lacquered and dark leather coverings. The sleeping area is set up with two en suite cabins, in which you can admire the same material and chromatic game seen in the lounge, which adds the contrast between the white skin of the bed head and the fascia and the dark skin in the bedside tables and at the base of the beds. The new open is equipped with 2 MAN engines of 1000 HP, or, upon request, with 2 MAN 1200 hp. The propulsion, in both cases, is at V-Drive. With standard equipment, 56’ Rivale reaches 31 knots at cruising speed and 35 knots at maximum speed. The most powerful propulsion allows up to 34 cruising nodes and 38 knots as maximum speed (preliminary data). As for Abarth, in celebration of the 175th birthday of Riva, the 695 Rivale 175th Anniversary runner, which features more detail in style, accentuates craftsman finishes and adds personalized items, dedicated circles, celebratory logos and front leather seats hand-finished blue and black. The availability of 175 berths and 175 cabriages.
