On October, the 11th to the 13th, Les Collectionneurs will be at the Dolomiti Gourmet Festival, the gastronomic event created by chef Chris Oberhammer to pay homage to the products and good food of the Val Pusteria.
The chefs of the Les Collectionneurs community will meet in Dobbiaco with colleagues from the area and across the Alps for the Dolomiti Gourmet Festival, a culinary exchange that will compare international philosophies with the tradition of cooking in the Dolomites and give visitors the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the gastronomic art of numerous and renowned chefs. The journey through the excellence of Alta Pusteria will start on Friday, the 11th, inside the historic Grand Hotel in Dobbiaco with a big party during which you can taste the classic dishes of the region accompanied by
selected wines. Among the chefs of Les Collectionneurs will be present, in addition to Chris Oberhammer (Ristorante Tilia, Dobbiaco), Eugenio Boer (Restaurant Bu: r, Milan), Andrea Besana (Le Ville Relais, La Spezia) and Arnaud Viel (Hostellerie De La Renaissance, Argentian, France). Saturday, the 12th, the lights of the Dolomiti Gourmet Festival will light up in the elegant Gustav Mahler room of the Grand Hotel, for the “Chris & Friends” gala dinner, a live cooking during which Oberhammer, Boer, Besana and Viel will create an exclusive multi-purpose menu to enhance the territory. The sommelier Anita Mancini of Ristorante Tilia is responsible for conducting the wine pairing. On Sunday, the 13th, the appointment will be instead at the Klaudehof farm to taste traditional dishes freshly prepared with the products of the farm and the farmers of the area, such as meat, speck, vegetables, potatoes, combined with a selection of wines and beers.
