Wine and solidarity. It is in this way that Bicerìn Milan, the elegant wine bar and wine room of Via Panfilo Castaldi, is preparing to turn off his first birthday tomorrow, July 6th. A special evening where good drinks will also exceptionally become a vehicle of solidarity in favor of the American foundation Wine to Water, which for over ten years aims to “transform” the wine into water for the countries of the Third World through fundraising during tastings, sales and other events related to the wine world. Specifically, the proceeds of Bicerìn Milan’s birthday party will be donated to a project aimed wing creation of wells for drinking water in Nepal, where the damage caused by the devastating earthquake of more than a year ago are still tangible, and the emergency is well far from being overcome. This initiative is strongly supported by the Bicerìn’s owners Silvia Amoni, Alberto Gugliada and Lorenzo Viola, that tomorrow will also distribute informational material on the work of Wine to Water. The wine for the evening will be made available by three young but already prestigious wineries. The farm Terra Donata of Erbusco will offer bubbles with its Franciacorta Natures bottles of 2007; the red lovers will can opt instead for the Negroamaro Don Franco (2013) of the Estate Macchiarola of Taranto; those who prefer the white will finally find a Roero Arneis (2015) of the farm Collina San Ponzio of Barolo. The glasses, priced at € 10 each, will be accompanied by a selection of finger food to pass. There will be an elegant floral setting designed by Coral Flower Shop and a fine selection of cakes from Patisserie Ramperti, who decided to support the network of solidarity activated by Bicerìn Milan around wine, symbol of wealth, joy and conviviality, in favor of Wine to Water.
