Woods, here, are the ones that saw St. Francis walking on Assisi. There are silent leisures, oaks and oaks in the 300 hectares around the millennial Castello di Petroia, a few kilometers from Gubbio (PG), where an exclusive truffle hunting is also organized for the fall. Accompanied by an expert finder and his dagger, you walk along the paths in the autumn colors, while the precious mushroom is cut, ready to be brushed and cooked in a really addictive experience. Truffle hunting can be experienced from the search to the table while staying at Petroia Castle from October the 1st to 22 December the 22th 2017. A special offer, including two hours of hunting with Caesar and his dog Stella, a full dinner with wines Doc of Umbria and four courses, of course, based on truffle, prepared by the starred chef Walter Passeri. The price for 2 hours of truffle hunting plus dinner is 80 euros per person.
