Troubled, unhappy in many ways but also a source of inspiration and example: that of Frida Kahlo on earth was certainly a unique experience of life and passion. Political, loving and, obviously, artistic passion. What remains today is the image of a very contemporary woman, independent though with many fragilities, and a vast artistic heritage that for the first time will be in Italy in an unprecedented form. The one that will be held at MUDEC in Milan from February the 1st to June the 3rd 2018 will be a unique exhibition, an opportunity to admire in only one place for the first time for fifteen years, all the works coming from the Museo Dolores Olmedo of Città del Mexico and the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection, the two most important and extensive collections of Frida Kahlo in the world, with the participation of authoritative international museums that will lend some of the masterpieces of the Mexican artist ever seen in Italy.
