The “project” Stappo was born thanks to the passion for good wine of three young entrepreneurs: Marco Mauri, AIS diploma and subsequent Master in viniculture achieved in Oltrepò Pavese; Luca Intelligente, graduated Sommelier; and Maria Grazia Salatino, retail consultant in the Milanese Quadrilatero della Moda with the ambition to bring the charm of wine in the most exclusive and prestigious locations. They are the Personal Sommelier of Stappo and with them we go into tours in cellars (also for foreign visitors), in food-wine pairings and in tasting events, without forgetting that they also offer a Sommelier service at home as well as Enoline, a niche e-commerce with labels that personally and accurately search among producers that meet strict selection criteria. The next appointment with Stappo will be dedicated to Franciacorta, one of the “wine roads” that still produces art and passion in fascinating rural settings, far from the great numbers of the industry and winemaking machines. On May, Saturday the19th, it will be possible to participate in guided tours in two exclusive and niche cellars, on a particular day able to transmit knowledge and feelings, unique opportunities and emotions. Attention will first focus on the enchanting Massussi Cellar of Iseo, surrounded by its vineyards and olive trees and a fantastic panoramic view of the lake, while in the afternoon we will move to Ome, in the estate of the farm holiday Al Rocol to know closely his “heroic viticulture”. There will be tastings and a typical dinner during which to appreciate the perfect combination of food and wine of the area and for those who want there also is the possibility of spending the night on a farm.
