The New Morone Gallery presents up to 6 July 2018 αlfaβeta, Andrea Bianconi’s exibition in the Project Room curated by Vittoria Coen
At the center of this exhibition, the articulated world of signs, words and images that distinguishes the research of the artist who in his works and performances expresses himself with different languages and media, in a vortex of obsessively repeated “signals” that give life to a site-specific installation in the name of a different sense created in an effect expression: “fantastic planet”. A small swivel stool in the middle of the space helps to engage the viewer who, sitting down, reads and rereads the words to the question whether the fantasy planet is inside or outside itself. A small cage, one of the most loved by the artist, insists and reinforces the idea that the answers can also be found within us, if we know how to question ourselves honestly and deeply. The directional concept of the human path takes place, through the game of arrows in the wall drawing, the speed and the desire to give an image to the language. Around these ideas, the exhibition develops as a warning, warning, intellectual provocation, with objects, elements and signs: a perpetual motion made of labyrinths, an eclectic vocabulary that belongs to the interior world of Andrea Bianconi.
