The second edition of I Maestri del Panettone arrives in Milan. It is the feast of the real artisan Panettone that anticipates an exact month of Christmas.
On November, the 24th and the 25th, at the Cavallerizze of the “Leonardo da Vinci” Museum of Science and Technology, the best Italian leavening artisans come back to Milan for the second edition of I Maestri del Panettone. To be precise, 26 artisans and 150 variations of the sweet symbol of the year-end festivities. Produced exclusively with sourdough and natural ingredients in full compliance with the basic rules of true confectionery craftsmanship, the Panettoni pass the scrutiny of “La carta dei Maestri del Panettone”, the programmatic document signed by all the Masters present in Milan which establishes the fundamental principles of the true artisan Panettone: a concentrate of genuineness and naturalness because it is produced following the ancient
traditional recipe (which provides 72 hours of leavening) and without adding preservatives, emulsifiers, semi-finished products and artificial flavors. The two-day program includes a rich program of meetings and master classes, themed tastings, workshops, lessons, free tastings and contests to discover the “many worlds” of Panettone. Also this year “La Fabbrica del Panettone” will be set up: a real pastry shop to discover (and learn) the secrets of the Christmas cake par excellence with the exceptional guidance of the Masters present at the event ready to answer and satisfy every curiosity: from the refreshment of the yeast to the first dough, from the second dough to the molding in the paper molds, to finish with cooking and cooling. New in this second edition, it will be the Happy Hour with the salty Panettone: the original aperitif in the company of the Masters Lievitisti to discover an unusual combination.
Saturday, the 24th, from 10 am to 7.30 pm and Sunday, the 25th, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
