With 585 hotels and restaurants, including 42 new entries, the 2020 Guide of the Community chaired by Alain Ducasse is enriched with new and unique experiences to be discovered.
There are 585 hotels and restaurants selected by les Collectionneurs – a community of restaurateurs, hoteliers and travelers who share a taste for travel – to be discovered within the 2020 edition of the Orange Guide. A collection of unique experiences, from ancient country houses to boutique hotels in the city, from gourmet restaurants to gourmet bistros, in as many as 16 countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Greece. The search to enrich the selection never ends and the 2020 Guide welcomes 42 new restaurateurs and hoteliers who share community values, curiosity, being demanding, generosity, and the promise of offering bien-dormir and bien-manger in “houses” on a human scale. Italy reaches 73 addresses with the entry of new historic homes and prestigious restaurants. In fact, the following debuts in the
community: Identità Golose Milano, an innovative hub dedicated to gastronomy; Bianca, freshly opened hotel-restaurant in Oggiono, on Lake Annone, with chef Fabrizio Albini; Ca ‘Matilde, the kingdom of chef Andrea Incerti Vezzani in the Reggio Emilia countryside. In Trani, there is Quintessenza, the restaurant of the young Di Gennaro brothers. In the heart of Cuneo, along the pedestrian promenade you will find Palazzo Lovera whose origins date back to the seventeenth century, once the home of nobles and illustrious people, where travelers can stay immersed in the history. Venice is enriched with two evocative new entries: the Hotel Paganelli, an ancient convent of Benedictine nuns overlooking the San Marco basin and
Villa Gasparini in Dolo, an authentic Venetian villa with refined interiors characterized by different styles. Two new addresses full of history also stand out in Como – Palazzo Albricci Peregrini, a refined 16th-century house in a private courtyard in the historic center – and in Gardone Riviera with the Grand Hotel Fasano, a hunting lodge built for the Austrian imperial family in 1888 and immersed in a secular park. Villa Maremonti, a typical Tuscan villa of the early 1900s surrounded by an oasis of Mediterranean vegetation, is located on the Versilia coast in Ronchi.
