Founded in 1975, Châteaux & Hôtels Collection is one of the privileged points of reference for travelers when choosing charming hotels and gourmet restaurants in Europe. A new look for the 2016 guide, with a smaller and handy perfect size for those who are always on travel and with an orange cover, a colour which is the emblem of the French brand chaired by Alain Ducasse. Inside you can find the description of each structure, about 500 exclusive addresses of restaurants, hotels and independent houses brought together by a desire to welcome guests into their maison and get a simple moment in a real experience. In the 2016 Châteaux & Hôtels Collection there are 45 new entries, including four Italian addresses, while for the first time also Spain,
Belgium and England are present in the Collection. Inside the book, a renovated layout and more attractive graphics leave wide space for images, focusing particularly on the unique experience that each hotel or restaurant can offer: sleeping in princely residences, breathtaking ocean views, enjoy dinners in prestigious restaurants, rejuvenate at luxurious spas and much more. Italy remains the second country in number of representative structures, as many as 24, thanks to this debuts: the exclusive wine
resort Borgo Condé on Forlì hills, the design hotel Spagna Royal Suite in the center of Rome, the elegant and precious Hotel de la Ville, in front of the Royal Palace in Monza and the Hotel Engel Resort & Spa, which by the enchanting scenery of the Dolomites also offers a starred restaurant. As for the other new entries, 31 are in France, 3 in Belgium, 3 in Spain and one in
Great Britain, an ancient house in the quiet of the English countryside. New entry also in exotic places, with boutique hotel located on Île de la Digue, a real paradise in the archipelago of Seychelles, and a guest house in Lebanon, not far from the center of Beirut, in which the charm of a house of the ’20s blends with contemporary decor. To the fine dining pleasures are dedicated 260 Tables enclosed in the Collection, gourmet addresses where to taste the chef’s specialties established and emerging for a
memorable dining experience. One more news: a witness to the great attention of Châteaux & Hôtels Collection to gastronomy, the guide includes the “Bistro/Brasserie” category for restaurants offering a modern and trendy cuisine. Each restaurant has its 3 signature dishes with images. The guide is in French-English version and it is available since last February 11th in all the structures that are part of the collection, or on the website of Châteaux & Hôtels Collection.
