Italian official launch for The Arsenale, a concept store and a unique annual book that tell the movement in style.
The best design of 2017 between land, air and water is all here in The Arsenale, a selection of the most innovative projects of the automotive, motorcycle, plane and boat market, including submarines. TheArsenale.com, the first dedicated platform for all moving objects, locates, assembles and highlights the most advanced manufacturers around the world and their incredible planes, boats, motorcycles, bicycles, jet, in short those “toys for boys” that represent the movement in style. While a selection of the most representative projects can be seen leafing through The Arsenale Annual Book, the revolutionary concept store – divided into four sections, Earth, Water, Air and Beyond, breaks the mold of traditional mobility combining aesthetics with the movement to ensure all its readers to move always in style. To celebrate the launch in Italy, during the Fuori Salone 2017 on April, 6th, The Arsenale will present at the Alcantara Concept Store in Milan three unique products. Among these here Sherpa, futuristic yachts and environmentally friendly, compact and multifunctional, by Arcadia Yachts. A jewel of Italian production that introduces a new concept of sport flying-bridge “Easy-to-close”, convertible into a closed platform completely protected from the side windows that can be raised up to meet the hard-top just as cars. There will then be the motorcycle of the industrial designer in Athens Nikos Manafis: a motorcycle of 125 cc made of fiberglass and Alcantara, in style “Back to the Future,” which will be produced in only 10 copies and whose characteristics include not only speed and performance but above all a design that offers a unique driving experience. Finally, the Cobalt Valkyrie Personal Plane, a private jet fully customized. Produced with a system equipped with an automatic parachute and powered by a 350hp Continental, it boasts a cruising speed of 220 knots to a range of about 2800 km. The aircraft accommodates 5 guests (with luggage in tow) in a cabin made of genuine leather by former craftsmen of Hermès and the first four units are currently being tested. The Annual Book of The Arsenal, published in English, includes in its 252 pages creations of famous designers such Ora Ito, Peugeot This Design Lab, Hermès, Arcadia Yachts, Blitz Motorcycles, Garage Italy, Bandit 9, Hazan Motorworks, Glider, Xavier Veilhan and many others.
