Designed entirely in 3-D by world-renowned architects and designers, Celebrity Edge was created to satisfy the most demanding of the luxury cruise industry customers. The new gem of Celebrity Cruises can accommodate 2918 guests allowing them to live the journey with uniqueness and refinement. To achieve excellence in luxury design, Celebrity Cruises has hired a team of industry experts from around the world, including designer Kelly Hoppen MBE of the renowned firm Kelly Hoppen Interiors and architect Tom Wright of WKK study. While the American designer Nate Berkus is the ambassador Celebrity Edge project. Along with other designers, the team managed to recreate a cool, exciting, current and comfortable ambience, the essence of modern luxury that distinguishes Celebrity Cruises. The revolutionary Edge Stateroom with Infinite Veranda balcony transform balcony into an integral part of the room, thanks to an automatic opening mechanism which gives more space for relaxation. The touch of
a button allows you to have access to the open sea, without being able to distinguish the interior with the exterior. Through the touch of another button, customers can have complete control of their room and customize it entirely: from highlights to shadows, the temperature in the service, choosing the settings for rest and awakening. Compared to the Solstice Class ships, the rooms are larger than 23% and the size of the bathrooms has increased by 10%. The new Iconic Suites are approximately 240 square meters with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, panoramic windows surrounding the entire room and 65 sq of veranda that offers a 270-degree view of the Ocean. In planning even six duplex villas with two floors, the Edge Villas, with private pools and direct access to the Retreat Sundeck. Just in the Retreat area, the most exclusive in absolute of Clebrity Edge, there are also the Retreat Lounge – which increases the style and sophistication of Celebrity Cruises thanks to the presence of a personal butler –

Kelly Hoppen has also designed the highly exclusive Penthouse Suites, which will include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large bath tub on the veranda, adjoining showers, walk-in closet and spacious 146 Sky Suites exterior. All with double occupancy suites will be equipped with exclusive king size mattresses cashmere, it will have a personal butler and it will have direct access to the Retreat. Among others spaces on board there will be the Rooftop Garden – designed by architect Tom Wright and edited daily by a gardener – that the evening will be transformed into the home of live music and the “outdoor cinema” thanks to the program “A Taste of Film “. On the side of the ship there is the Magic Carpet, incredible engineering project, the size of a tennis court, that can go up and down from the bridge 2 to 16 bridge and vice versa, and make the Celebrity Edge profile recognizable from miles away. At the top of the ship, on the deck 16, the Magic Carpet is an
elegant specialty restaurant that can accommodate up to 90 people and will propose the special “Dinner on the Edge”. The bridge 14 of the Magic Carpet will become the outdoor extension of the main pool. On deck 5 it will turn instead one of the specialty restaurants with a vast open space. Finally, the bridge 2 will become one of the key components of the Destination Gateway, a luxury area of embarkation / disembarkation from where guests can start their trips on new requirements into small yacht: Edge Launches.SM. Celebrity Edge will have as its homeport Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will sail for the first time on December 2018, 16th. Reservations are open on celebritycruises.com/edge site, or through travel agents, for two cruises of 7 nights. The itinerary will include the Eastern Caribbean ports of San Juan, Puerto Rico; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. While the Western Caribbean itinerary will include the ports of Key West, Florida; Costa Maya, Mexico; Cozumel, Mexico; and George Town, Grand Cayman. Guests will also be able to book consecutive cruises itineraries of 14 nights. Celebrity Edge will be joined by the three sister ships for delivery in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
