AA introduces the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner assigned to the Italian market and the Premium Economy at the Rome Fiumicino airport.
The first Boeing 787-Dreamliner operates since March, the 25th, for flights between Rome Fiumicino FCO and Chicago O’Hare ORD. Equipped with a cabin configured in two classes, the 787-8 of American Airlines offers 28 fully reclining “Business Class” seats, alternating with respect to the flight direction and arranged in 1-2-1 configuration. The “Main Cabin” is equipped with 48 “Main Cabin Extra” seats in the 3-3-3 configuration, which can offer passengers up to six extra feet of legroom, and 150 “Main Cabin” seats, also they are in the 3-3-3 configuration. A second Dreamliner will soon be assigned to the new route from Venice Marco Polo VCE to Chicago O’Hare ORD. In addition, given the great success of the connection introduced in 2017 by Rome Fiumicino FCO in Dallas – Fort Worth DFW, AA has decided to increase seasonal operations for the second year of the flight, bringing a further increase in passenger service, which since last March, the 26th, they have a Boeing 777-2 configured in three classes of service: Economy Class, Business Class and Premium Economy, which provides about 1 meter of extra space for the legs, the check in 2 suitcases at no additional cost and the priority boarding service.
