But American Airlines intends to expand the access to the Flagship Lounge even to Business Class passengers flying on international and intercontinental routes. The JFK airport offers travelers the opportunity to relax in silent areas, work on individual desks, refresh themselves in the showers before flying, enjoy a wide range of both hot and cold buffet meals, or opt for à la carte or the Chef’s table, which features a rotating menu of appetizers prepared at the moment. All accompanied by a selection of wines and champagne chosen from among the best labels or by using them directly from the counter for a “make your own cocktail”. First Class passengers traveling on international and intercontinental routes offering this service will have exclusive access to the Flagship First Dining service, available in a restricted area of ​​the Flagship Lounge. The à la carte service will provide passengers with free full dinner with table service with a menu inspired by the place. As for culinary proposals, all involve the use of ingredients purchased from local suppliers, including the cheese produced by Sprout Creek Farms and fodder beef produced by Joyce Farms, which will be used for American’s Flagship Burger, flat which will be available in all lounges with the Flagship First Dining. Passengers will also be able to enjoy special cocktails studied by the renowned New York mixologist Pamela Wiznitzer and prestigious wines selected by renowned master sommelier Desmond Echavarrie. Further news is the Flagship First Check-In, an exclusive area located in JFK terminal 8, which quickly reaches the Flagship Lounge and is supported by a Premium Customer Service representative. The same service is active in Chicago O’Hare, London Heathrow, Los Angeles and Miami – ships where the Flagship First Dining is expected to be introduced during the year – and will later also be available in Dallas – Fort Worth and Philadelphia.
