What parties would be without Panettone? The most traditional of Italian Christmas sweets always focuses on craftsmanship.
For Christmas 2018 Vergani, the Panettone of Milan, focuses on gluttony and with the timeless classic recipe offers two variants ready to conquer all palates. In Panettone with Grand Cru Vidamà chocolate the classic dough based on natural yeast, flour, butter and fresh egg yolk is enriched with drops of fine dark chocolate Grand Cru Vidamà with 60% of fairtrade cocoa from the Ivory Coast. In Panettone with marrons glacés, instead, there are pulpy chestnuts glazed with a veil of sugar. For both it is naturally respected the tradition that wants 72 hours of leavening, low form and characteristic alveolation to guarantee its fragrance. Until December. the 24th, Monza welcomes the third edition of Panettoni d’Autore: 10 Maîtres Pâtissiers united by the respect of the ancient artisanal confectionery tradition engaged in revisiting the Panettone by selecting typical Italian regional ingredients and indulging in forms that are not always conventional. Creations that represent unique and unrepeatable products for quality and taste and that are available with a mix of different flavors in 10 exclusive boutiques in Monza. As always, the Panettoni will be on sale for the entire duration of the event and part of the proceeds will go to the “Paese Ritrovato” project by La Meridiana Cooperative, the first Village in Italy dedicated to the care of people with dementia and affected by the syndrome of Alzheimer’s. The Master Pastry Chefs are Roberto Rinaldini, 3 times world champion in the pastry arts, Vincenzo Tiri, Mario Bacilieri, the brigade of the tristellato Da Vittorio restaurant, Alessandro Servida, the starred Giancarlo Morelli (Pomiroeu Restaurant), Mauro Morandin, Maurizio Bonanomi, Denis Dianin and Paolo Sacchetti, master of Italian lievitists.
