They are little culinary miniatures, small and varied portions that interpret both traditional cuisine and high sophisticated cuisine. And this year they will be celebrated not only in Spain, their country of origin, but in more than 20 countries around the world simultaneously. On June 16th it will be the World Day of Tapas, a way to enjoy all Spain through these small pleasures that have already obtained internationally recognition and prestige and that communicate the positive values of conviviality, fun and style of Spanish life. In Italy, the Spanish Tourist Office has involved a number of bars, hotels and restaurants present in Milan and Rome offering their products and Spanish recipes menu, including hotels from the Spanish chain NH and Meliá.
