COMO Castello Del Nero, the 12th century castle located within a 3-hectare property in the rolling hills of the Chianti region, extends its opening to December 1st, allowing guests to experience the autumn splendor of Tuscany through new experiences.

Stars in the kitchen
A very special 4-hands dinner will take place on November 22 in the 1 Michelin Star La Torre restaurant. Alongside the Executive Chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro will be chef Gaetano Trovato from the Arnolfo restaurant, 2 Michelin stars in Colle Val D’Elsa. The evening, also open to external guests, will be a tribute to local products and cuisine in a contemporary key but also an opportunity for comparison between esteemed colleagues, as well as friends. Among the dishes that the two chefs will offer on the menu are blue lobster with turnip greens, Mugello ricotta croquette and Asetra caviar signed by Giovanni Luca di Pirro and Scampo, foie gras, passion fruit, signed by Gaetano Trovato.

Thanksgiving in TuscanyChianti

The classic American tradition of Thanksgiving is revived this year at Castello del Nero and includes a rejuvenating three-night break at the resort. Under the watchful eye of starred Executive Chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro, budding chefs can learn to master the art of Italian cuisine during a hands-on lesson. To complete the experience of seasonal products, there is also a Chianti wine tasting and a truffle hunt. In addition, an extraordinary Thanksgiving in Italian style will be organized on Thursday 24 November (from € 3270.00 in a double room).
