Since the very moment of founding, Metropol Hotel attracted people from artistic beau monde. Now it becomes more comfortable for business people as well. The service called “Executive Lounge” is an integral part of a state-of-the-art class Lux hotel, so Metropol, now being on the path to renewal, endeavors to comply with world’s top standards. The Metropol is a legendary hotel with a unique architecture located in the Moscow downtown, in a three-minute walk from the Red Square, Kremlin, and Bolshoi Theatre. The Executive Lounge is the zone of special hospitality where the guests will make themselves at home. Here, they can have a breakfast, tea and dinner, or arrange official receptions and meetings. Using services of the Executive Lounge is included in the suite price for guests of high-category suites such as Executive Suite, Metropol Grand Suite, and Presidential Suite. The Executive Lounge is one of most stylishly renewed areas of the Metropol Hotel in addition to SAVVA Restaurant. Hotel personnel, dressed in uniforms by Alexander Terekhov, the famous Russian designer, will serve the guests. The hotel’s Executive Lounge is located on the fourth floor of the hotel, beside the beautiful banquette hall of the hotel, named Boyarsky. The lounge consists of two spacious halls, which can host up to 44 guests, and two rooms for negotiations, the smaller and bigger ones, which can accommodate 8 and 12 persons, respectively. At the entrance, the guests may sip on signature cocktails on the basis of the Russian gastronomical tradition – the fruit drinks. As it is in all similar lounges of the world, coffee, tea, nonalcoholic beverages and water, as well as wine, Champaign wine, beer and snacks of chef Andrey Shmakov are offered here all day long. One can have a breakfast (07 am-11 am) and, from 2 pm to 5 pm, order the “Metropol” tea ceremony with chocolates and cakes by the hotel’s pastry chef. From 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the dinner menu is offered in the lounge, including strong alcoholic beverages like vodka, whisky, cognac, and rum. Those who would like to use the Executive Lounge as business room will be offered iPad or laptop, individual workplace equipped by computer, printer, and scanner. Upon request, the lounge guests may use personal butler services or business center. There is a small library with new press, books and albums on Russian art and history.
