Born from the passion of Mauro and Riccardo Galliano for project history and industrial design, the Museo del Design has its headquarters in None (TO), along the road linking the eighteenth century Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi to Sestriere. The museum was designed to promote the history and culture of Italian design, and it has gradually expanded his collection becoming a reference point for fans, who can find the most representative objects of international production. A path that goes from the beginning of the twentieth century to present days and accompanies the visitor in a diverse gallery of shapes and colors that illustrate the change in taste but also in lifestyle occurred over the last century. The exhibition focuses on the interactions between the design and the evolution of technical and technological dynamics. In this light, true icons of design as the Superleggera chair by Gio Ponti, the Taccia lamp or the stool Mezzadro by Achille Castiglioni are flanked by lesser-known objects, but from the same cultural significance, as Divisumma18 Bellini or Moka 9090 Sapper. Credits: Museo del Design.
