All Nippon Airways (ANA) promises stellar adventures, thanks to the new Star Wars themed aircraft that will sail the Japanese skies to celebrate the release of the next film in the series.
Star Wars
It is the largest Japanese airline and has always “pampered” its passengers not only with impeccable and luxurious service on board and land, but also with many fun initiatives. And so this year, on December, 1st to 14th, it will operate with its C-3PO ™, ANA JET a selection of flights to Osaka / Itami and Fukuoka departing from Tokyo Haneda to celebrate “STAR WARS: The Ascent of Skywalker”, ninth episode of the saga. The custom livery of the Boeing 777-200 is a tribute to C-3PO ™, one of the most iconic characters. “The intent of ANA is also to entertain all its passengers, and the C-3PO™ ANA JET is offered to show our more playful side,” said Mitsuo Tomita, Senior Vice President of ANA. “Our goal is to make every journey with ANA a memorable experience and the personalizedaircraft will remain in the memory of passengers“. The interior of the plane reflects the livery, with armchairs equipped with C-3PO ™ themed headrests. The cabin attendants will wear aprons designed to recall the famous Star Wars character and the drinks will be served with special edition paper cups. Furthermore, all passengers on board flights will be given an original C-3PO ™ boarding certificate in memory of their experience. Thanks to its high quality service summarized in the “Inspiration of Japan” concept, ANA was awarded by SKYTRAX with the 5-star rating every year starting in 2013 and it is the Japanese airline that won it seven years in a row. ANA has also been named “Airline of the Year” by Air Transport World three times in the last 10 years – in 2007, 2013 and 2018 – becoming one of the few airlines to win this prestigious award several times.
