World Aperitivo Day is scheduled for May, the 26th, the world day that celebrates one of the symbolic rituals of Italian gastronomic culture and lifestyle.

World Aperitivo DayThe first edition of the event will be celebrated on May, the 26th,  with both an in-person event and on social channels, through which each of us will be able to tell – through the hashtag #WorldAperitivoDay – their own interpretation of the ideal Aperitif. The institutional event dedicated to the project conceived by MWW Group will take place at the Feltrinelli Foundation. The program will be full of activities and punctuated by moments of meeting, by tasting with creations made by great chefs and barmen, by combinations studied by sommeliers and gastronomes. Ambassadors of the World Aperitivo Day areWorld Aperitivo Day Chefs Andrea Berton, Daniel Canzian and Viviana Varese; the Barman Filippo Sisti, the Sommelier of the Berton Restaurant Luca Enzo Bertè and the Sommelier of the Daniel Canzian Ristorante Silvio Toselli. The initiative comes to life with the support of the Main Sponsors of the event, Carrefour and Candy, who in collaboration with the Institutions, the representative organizations of the Made in Italy agri-food supply chains, the Consortia, the partners involved in the project and the Ambassadors , will meet on 26 May to sign the Aperitif Manifesto with the aim of identifying and codifying the founding values ​​of this daily Italian ritual. The official World Aperitivo Day logo is designed by the Milanese illustrator Francesco Poroli.
